Red Dead Redemption 2 fan takes stunning portraits of John, Arthur, Dutch and Micah

A talented Red Dead Redemption 2 fan creates portraits for four key members of the Van der Linde gang while maintaining the series’ iconic art style.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was a huge hit for a number of reasons, although its memorable cast of characters was undoubtedly one of its main draws. Recently a talented fan of Red Dead Redemption 2 went to the series’ main subreddit to show some appreciation to four key members of the Van Der Linde gang.

tributes to Red Dead Redemption 2 Characters are nothing new. Some fans have made custom LEGO figures for Arthur and recreated his journal, while others have designed mods aimed at beating up Micah. Paintings by John Marston were shared, as were posts discussing Dutch Van Der Linde’s logic. Now, a fan of the popular 2018 release has presented a collection of artwork that pays tribute to all four of these characters.

The four Red Dead Redemption 2 Artwork comes courtesy of Reddit user mikesartwrks. Each is an official’s interpretation Red Dead Redemption Character art with red backgrounds for the pieces. A minimalist approach is taken to the colors as each character is left entirely in white and black. This proves to be a great blend of colors, making for aesthetically pleasing art that allows fans to clearly identify each individual character.

The top row features the protagonists John Marston and Arthur Morgan. The latter holds up a shotgun and steps forward while the former aims a shotgun, just like in the original’s key graphic Red Dead Redemption. Dutch the schemer holds up a revolver and rejoices, with some detailing on his hat and clothing. Micah completes the portraits, with his long hair and signature beard easily recognizable. In his pose, he holds up two revolvers, which goes perfectly with his official artwork.

Unsurprisingly, the post garnered hundreds of positive votes and praise Red Dead Redemption community. However, between comments showing love for the artist and his work, some players focused on Micah’s inclusion in the lineup. TaxFraud4Life stated that a “rodent” and a “pest” snuck onto the fourth screen, a nod to Micah’s role as a traitor. Another commenter, Astrojef, stated that they would buy the Micah art for their shooting range to show their disdain for the villain.

While the post shows how hated Micah is, it also clearly shows how passionate he is Red Dead Redemption 2 Fans are over the Rockstar Games title. Whenever Red Dead Redemption 3 happening, his characters clearly have a lot to offer as fans have shown their appreciation for that Red Dead Redemption 2 poured for years.
