Apex Legends Mobile’ added Loba to the game with the recent Cold Snap update and started a themed event to celebrate her arrival. The new Loba’s Soirée event rewards players for opening Frosted Supply Bins and collecting Diamonds in Winter Warfare, the icy new twist on the battle royale of the popular mobile game.
While the rewards are randomly selected, they can all be obtained for free by completing challenges and using diamonds to redeem draw tickets. Draw tickets can then be used to draw a random reward from the prize pool, which consists of a total of eight rewards. Rewards include an exclusive Loba mobile skin and Loba avatar for your in-game profile.
Started
When you start the game you will see a splash screen promoting the event, but you can also navigate to the event page via the banner ad on the right side of the main lobby screen. There you can take a closer look at the prizes and the challenges required to get them. Below the prize pool you will see a small “+” symbol. Select it to open a window listing all of the challenges for the event. When you’re ready, select a challenge and select “Go!” to be taken straight into a game, or load into one from the main lobby screen.
challenges
There are five challenges in this event, and each of them awards players with GPS parts which can then be redeemed for draw tickets. The first three challenges are updated every day, while the last two are cumulative. The challenges for Loba’s Soirée are as follows:
- Play 1 Battle Royale match (updated daily): 1 GPS part
- Open 3 frozen supply containers (updates daily): 2 GPS parts
- Loot 200 Diamonds (updates daily): 2 GPS parts
- Loot 1000 Diamonds: 3 GPS pieces
- Open 20 Frosty Supply Containers: 3 GPS parts
draw lots
When you’ve completed a challenge or two (it’s actually quite easy to complete multiple challenges in a single game), go back to the challenges screen and select “Redeem” to exchange your GPS pieces for draw tickets.
Below the prize pool on the event page is a button that says “Open” with a number next to it. This number indicates how many draw tickets are required to draw a random reward from the prize pool. While your first draw will only cost you one ticket, the price increases with each round. Here are the prizes for each drawing round.
- First round: 1 draw ticket
- Second and third round: 2 lots
- Fourth and fifth round: 3 lots
- Sixth and seventh round: 4 lots
- Final round: 5 lots.
You need a total of 23 tickets to get all eight prizes.

The following rewards are included in the event prize pool:
- 30 river
- 2,000 XP
- 2,000 diamonds
- 60 river
- 3,000 XP
- 3,000 diamonds
- Avatar portrait of the Snow Queen

tips
- Once a prize is obtained, it is removed from the loot pool, so you never get a duplicate prize.
- Draw Tickets and GPS Pieces have a 1:1 exchange rate – if you collect five GPS Pieces, you will receive five Draw Tickets when you redeem them.
- Frosty Supply Containers and the Diamonds they contain are only available in Winter Warfare’s Battle Royale mode, so make sure you select the correct game mode before dropping by.
- Diamonds aren’t just available in Frozen Supply Caches – you can also find them in the Death Boxes of killed enemies.
- When you hear the Apex Games announcer explain that the climatizer has activated, look at your card. Frosty and Diamond Supply Caches are marked in blue.
- Diamond Supply Bins that are out of range of the Climatizer can still be opened, so don’t worry if you’re not in range of the Climatizer when it activates, just make sure to look out for Diamond Supply Bins when it does does .
- Playing as Loba is ideal as she can steal diamonds from Death Boxes via her Black Market and quickly teleport to Frosted Supply Bins with her Jump Drive ability.
Loba’s Soirée runs until June 29th, giving players plenty of time to collect diamonds and free loot.
